I'm betting on the Dodgers to cover the run line again on Monday. The Cubs struggled to score in their last series, managing just two runs in three games. They have been held scoreless in three of their last five games and have scored five total runs in five of their last six games. Walker Buehler appears to have regained some of his old form, allowing two earned runs in each of his last two starts with ten strikeouts in 9.2 combined innings.

“I think these past two starts, obviously the line doesn’t reflect it last time, but starting to get some punchouts and all of that kind of stuff,” Buehler said after the game. “I think for me it’s all these little tiny boxes checked. I feel like myself and I feel like I can go and throw the ball well."

I'm comfortable betting on the Dodgers to exploit Kyle Hendricks' mistakes, too. He has a 6.60 ERA and 1.51 WHIP this season and hasn't been any better in the second half of the season (1-4 with a 6.27 ERA). LA has hit him well in the past, slashing .295 BA/.336 OBP/.482 SLG/.818 OPS in 112 combined career ABs. Freddie Freeman, Max Muncy, Shoheio Ohtani and Chris Taylor have all taken him yard, too.
