Michigan State is banged up on the offensive line, where depth is already concerning, and has suffered long-term injuries in the secondary and at receiver. The Spartans are feeling great after beating Maryland straight-up as road underdogs and coasting against Prarie View A&M, but Boston College is on another level than those two teams.

The Eagles looked solid last week on the road against a ranked Missouri team and have enough offensive weapons to put pressure on the Spartans' offense to match, which isn't going to work in MSU's favor. QB Aidan Chiles has a big arm and has the potential to be a star but he's been reckless with the football and his decision-making needs time to develop. The Eagles will pick him off at least once and force one or two of MSU's promising drives into punts.
