Nebraska vs. Iowa (Huskers +4.5): BEST BET NCAAB
(NCAAB) Nebraska vs. Iowa,
Point Spread: 4.50 | -110.00 Nebraska (Away)
Result: Loss
Some betting experts are dubbing this a likely "letdown spot" for the Huskers, as they are coming off a momentous 88-72 victory over top-ranked Purdue, but I'm not simply fading them based on that hunch. I would much rather take the points with the hot-shooting visitors than lay four points with the home team, as the Hawkeyes have been unable to close out shooters at the three-point arc this season (292nd in opponent 3PT%). Nebraska forward Rienk Mast (13.3 PPG and 8.7 RPG) also figures to have an impact inside against an Iowa defense that allows its opponents to shoot 58.1% at the rim. The Bradley transfer has been a huge addition to the Huskers, scoring 19 against Kansas State, 16 against Wisconsin, and 18 against Purdue in recent games. Freshman Owen Freeman has played well lately for the Hawkeyes, but how will he contain the senior Mast?

Iowa may have this game circled, as Nebraska won both meetings last season, but I still prefer the Cornhuskers' side in Friday's Big Ten battle.
