UCLA +4
(NCAAF) Golden Gophers (MIN) vs. Bruins (UCLA),
Point Spread: 4.00 | -108.00 Bruins (UCLA) (Home)
Result: Push
I think this is a good spot for the Bruins and the matchup works in their favor, too.

Minnesota is coming off an upset win over USC, but now it travels to SoCal to face a UCLA defense that's desperate to make a statement after losing its last four games. While betting on the Bruins might give you agita, they can at least cover the four-point spread against a beatable Minnesota team. After tangling with undefeated Indiana and ranked LSU, Oregon and Penn State teams (20-1 combined record between those squads), the drop in competition level will give UCLA a confidence boost at home, where they hope to earn their first-ever Big Ten victory.

The Golden Gophers prefer to run the football, which works into the Bruins' strength. UCLA has allowed 102.8 rushing yards per game, the 25th-fewest in the nation, and ranks 27th in EPA per rush and 2nd in rushing explosiveness. Both of these teams also play at a slow pace, which should lead to a close, low-scoring game.

QB Ethan Garbers was taking first-team reps during Wednesday’s practice, indicating he could return for Saturday's game after sitting out last week. The Gophers have played a soft schedule so far and may be in for a surprise against a battle-tested Bruins squad. Bet on the home team to cover the four-point spread tomorrow night in LA!
