Nebraska ranks 47th in near-proximity FG% and gets to the free-throw line often (25th in free-throw attempt rate), which will put pressure on UMD's bigs to stay out of foul trouble. The Cornhuskers are also solid from three-point range (36% vs. the average opponent) and the Terrapins rank bottom third nationally in opponent average shot distance.

Nebraska packs it in defensively (fourth in average shot proximity) and ranks 16th in defensive rebounding, which will be key vs. Terps bigs Julian Reese and Derik Queen. That will pressure Maryland's other contributors to play at a higher level than usual if they're going to win and cover the spread.
