PIRATES ML (+135) vs YANKEES
(MLB) Yankees (NYY) vs. Pirates (PIT),
Money Line: 135.00 Pirates (PIT) (Home)
Result: Loss
Today is Pittsburgh's home opener, and the Yankees are coming to town. The Pirates had yesterday off and won their previous game 4-2 with Paul Skenes on the mound, so they have rest, some momentum, and a spirited home-field crowd on their side.

New York played on Thursday night before traveling to Pittsburgh and has lost two of its last three games, making this a convenient spot to target the Pirates. Plus, the home team is starting Mitch Keller, who fared well in his 2025 debut (one run allowed in a six-inning win) and was solid at PNC Park last year (3.08 ERA and 1.17 WHIP). The Pirates have seen enough of Max Fried (93 combined career ABs) from his time with Atlanta to prepare for him confidently ahead of this matchup, too.

All that said, I believe Pitt is worth the squeeze at +135 odds on Friday!
