I really like the under in this game, but I'm also on the Orioles ML at -117. Baltimore has the momentum and the mental edge after it rallied from five runs down to beat Boston yesterday. As I mentioned in my total prediction, O's SP Grayson Rodriguez is living up to his potential in his second big league season. The Orioles bullpen is elite, as well!

Boston SP Garrett Whitlock is off to a fine start to 2024, but he did benefit from facing weak Mariners and Angels lineups. He only pitched 9.1 total innings in those two starts and walked four batters versus LA. Does he have good enough stuff to give Boston length tonight? I'm not sold. It's hard to write off his disappointing 2023 season (5.15 ERA) so quickly, too.

I like Baltimore to win a close one tonight at Fenway.
