Northwestern has had trouble on the defensive side of the ball, giving up 83 points in their last two games played against Big Ten opponents and 529 yards to Indiana of all teams. Northwestern has also had problems with the run against Big Ten opponents, which will make themselves one dimensional. That is a formula for failure, giving Maryland plenty of opportunities to run up the score. Aside from their most recent game, the Terrapins have surrendered an average of less than 17 points per game. I expect them to hit 30 at the minimum and do enough on defense to cover.
