College Football Best Bet - Boise St vs UNLV
(NCAAF) Broncos (BOISE) vs. Rebels (UNLV),
Point Spread: 3.50 | -115.00 Rebels (UNLV) (Home)
Result: Loss
This game really comes down to one thing, can the UNLV rush defense slow down Heisman Trophy co-favorite Ashton Jeanty? He’s rushed for at least 100 yards in all six games so far and over 200 in three of them. Not to take anything away from this outstanding back but UNLV will be the best run defense the Broncs have faced this season. Oregon is the only other team they’ve seen that was in the top 60 in yards per rush attempt given up.

This is basically an elimination game for a shot at the CFB playoffs and the home faithful in Vegas are sure to be fired up. The Rebs offense is averaging 43.6 points per game, ranking 3rd in the nation and quarterback Hajj-Malik Williams has been playing well, throwing for 838 yards and 10 touchdowns while also rushing for 390 yards and 4 scores. They take care of the ball and have the best turnover margin in the country at +10. In a close game, the difference could come down to special teams and UNLV has an elite unit that’s blocked four punts and four kicks so far this season. Rebels keep this one close and may even sneak away with a huge win for this revived program.
