Cardinal (+) over Ducks- This might be the best regular season Thursday night match-up of all time as #2 Oregon travels to play at #6 Stanford in a game that most likely means a chance for Oregon to reach the BCS Championship game. We are all aware that the Ducks have revenge in their corner as it was Stanford that ended the Ducks title hopes last year with a 27-21 over win in Oregon. Oregon has won nine of the last 11 meetings but the teams have split the last four and the Cardinals have won their last 13 home games. The Ducks have won all their games by at least 21 points and have had a weeks rest to prepare. I could present you with trends for both teams that will do nothing but confuse the issue. The point for me is that the actual pressure of this contest falls on Oregon as Stanford has already suffered a loss (at Utah) and will look for their second straight upset in the series.
