Pelicians (+) over Lakers- Here I go again, trying to figure out how and why this New Orleans club is such a strong favorite when we are all aware how young and inexperienced they are. I was taken to the wood shed in their home opener as they blew a 16-point send-half lead. Meanwhile, the Lakers are off an emotional win at Houston (facing Dwight Howard for the first time) and they have now won three of their last four. So, why and how are the 2-3 Pelicans such a strong favorite. They are off a win on the road against Memphis where they had built a 27-point lead and coasted in the final 12 minutes. Anthony Davis is emerging as a true NBA force and the Lakers will feel that tonight. Take NEW ORLEANS!
