Mariners over Rays- In my mind's play I sorta see Tampa bay as the Al version of the Cardinals. By this I mean it seems that it doesn't matter who's in uniform that they play good fundamental baseball. But, maybe it is early yet but I believe that I see a kink in Tampa Bay's armor and the first hint was poor defensive play. Seattle will start Robbie Ray (2-2, 4.15 ERA) who is off a 3-1 loss at Miami where he had eight strikeouts in five innings giving up just four hits. Shane McClanahan (1-2, 3.00) and although he has 42 K's in just 27 innings of work he is 0-2 on the road and the Rays are 3-13 in the last 16 games in the Emerald City. Take SEATTLE!
