#459/460 ASA FREE PLAY ON Over 54 Points – Jacksonville @ Houston, Sunday at 1:00 PM ET - Two of the worst defenses in the NFL going at it here means points should be on the way. Houston ranks 27th in DVOA defense per Football Outsiders while Jacksonville is dead last at 32nd. The Jags have allowed at least 31 points in 3 of their 4 games and the only game they did not Indy put up 450 yards on 6.5 YPP but turned the ball over a bunch limiting their scoring opportunities. Houston’s defense has given up at least 28 points in all four of their games this season. The Houston offense has faced 3 defenses in the top 10 on Football Outsiders and the other defense they faced (Minnesota) is ranked 13th. Now facing the worst defense we look for the Texan’s offense to put up big points. The Jags put up almost 7.0 YPP last week @ Cincinnati and they rank in the top 10 in the NFL in that category. These teams have combined to play 8 games this year and 6 of those have gone OVER the total. Both of these teams like to play fast if possible with Houston ranking 7th in pace of play and Jacksonville 12th. With Houston favored by 6 (or so) here, the anticipated final score is 30-24 based on where this total is set. We think both teams have a solid shot to reach 30 here so we’ll grab the OVER.
