Pelicans (+) over Mavericks- After losing their opening game to San Antonio by one-point the Mavericks managed to even their record with a win over the Utah Jazz. This time around Dallas invades New Orleans and must contend with the NBA's newest superstar in Antony Davis who had 27 points 17 rebounds and nine blocked shots in the season opener. Although Dallas was 4-0 last year and have won seven straight in this series the Pelicans have some firepower that the lacked last year. With the return of Ryan Anderson and addition of Omer Asik New Orleans is a serious dark hourse to make the playoffs. Take PELICANS!
