Big 12 Game of the Month CBB 10*
(NCAAB) Kansas State vs. Baylor,
Point Spread: -6.00 | -110.00 Baylor (Home)
Result: Loss
#764 ASA TOP PLAY ON 10* Baylor -6 over Kansas State, Saturday at 6 PM ET - We were on Baylor earlier this week and lost but we’re coming right back with the Bears in this game. They are coming off back to back losses @ Iowa State and at home vs TCU and now are in must win mode sitting at 0-2 in the Big 12. In their 88-87 home loss on Thursday vs TCU, the Bears led by as many as 17 (TCU largest lead was 3) and the Horned Frogs never led in the 2nd half until hitting a 3 pointer with 4 seconds remaining. It was a game Baylor absolutely should have won. It was just their 4th home loss in their last 51 games at the Ferrell Center and we expect a spirited effort here. KSU played on Tuesday as well and put up a ridiculous 116 points at Texas winning 116-103 as a 9 point underdog. The Cats hit a ridiculous 60% of their shots in that game along with 54% of their 3’s and made 31 of their 33 FT’s. They eclipsed their season average in PPG by nearly 40 points! We look for a massive regression here for a team that nearly lost their Big 12 home opener a few days earlier getting by WVU in OT. KSU had played 2 true road game prior to that performance on Wednesday beating a bad California team (current record of 2-13) and losing @ Butler. Last year when these teams met @ Baylor the Bears were favored by 12.5 (won by 25) and now we’re getting the host at quite a price discount based on what transpired a few days ago. We’re back on Baylor at home in a crucial home game before they go on the road for 3 of their last 4.
