White Sox over Tigers- The Tigers snapped an eight-game losing streak Saturday with a 7-1 victory over the White Sox as the bottom of the order went 7-for-12 and finally supported Miguel Cabrera who has reached base in 25 straight games. Alfredo Simon (5-3, 2.97 ERA) gets his first start since May 22nd because of the death of his father is 1-3 with a 3.96 ERA in his last six starts. Jeff Samardzija (4-3, 4.68) is off his worst performance of the season and has allowed 16 runs and 23 hits in the first inning this season. He needs to start off right and get the win here.
