Brewers over Reds- A pair of ‘also-rans' will be going at it in this 3-game holiday weekend as the bottom two clubs in the NL Central face-off in Cincinnati. Still a full seven games behind the Reds in the loss column Milwaukee has won five straight and eight of their last 10 while Cincinnati has managed just four wins in their last five series. Brewers starter Mike Fiers (3-7, 4.14 ERA) has little to show for some decent efforts as he has allowed two runs or fewer in 11 of his 15 starts. One of his worst starts was against these same Reds who ripped hime for eight runs (4 earned) in four innings back in April. look for the Brewers to continue their good play and post another victory tonight.
