Cubs over Cardinals- I hate coming back with the Cubs here as they just swept a double-header from the best team in baseball but I have to do it. Chicago has now won seven of their last nine while St. Louis has dropped six of their last nine as the Cubs finally broke trough with wins against their fiercest rival. The Cardinals Michael Wacha (10-3, 2.66 ERA) who might be starting the All-Star game next Tuesday has allowed opponents two runs or less in 12 of his 16 starts and is 3-1 with a 2.87 ERA lifetime against the Cubs. Chicago's Jason Hammel (5-4, 2.89) is winless in his last five starts and is 1-3 lifetime against St. Louis yet opens the favorite here. Take the CUBS.
