Mariners over Angels- Two days ago we had the Mariners against the Tigers and they were 0-for-14 with runners in scoring positioning a 5-4 loss and ‘we' came back with them yesterday as the racked up a season hit 19 hits in a 7-2 win over Los Angeles. Hector Santiago (5-4, 2.40 ERA) has been outstanding in his last three starts allowing only eight hits in 20 innings while Seattle starter Mike Montgomery (4-2, 1.62) has won three straight starts allowing just one run in 23.2 innings posting an ERA of 0.38 while going 1-2 with a 2.15 ERA at home, Mariners bats have come alive with Robinson Cano picking up the pace.
