Mariners over Twins- So many clubs when a streak is broken be it a winning or losing streak go off in the opposite direction once their streak is broken. The Mariners just broke a four-game slide with their 6-1 win over the Twins Friday and will start Mike Montgomery (4-4, 3.20 ERA) who has struggled in his last four starts after a strong start going 0-2 with a 7.08 ERA in his last four outings. Minnesota's Kyle Gibson (8-8, 3.48) is also going through some changes as he has surrendered six runs in each of his last two starts getting hit for 16 hits in 10.2 innings. With Nelson Cruz on a tear it become the Mariners day. Take SEATTLE!
