Pirates (+) over Hokies- Virginia Tech was on the verge of upsetting No.1 Oho State when quarterback Michael Brewer was hurt in their opener and then they fell apart as the Buckeyes rolled over the a Hokies in the second half. But Tech has bounced back nicely with wins over and Furman and Purdue. East Carolina has dropped 2-of-3 but have won four straight against ACC opponents and are 16-3 straight-up in their last 19 at home. Great spot for the Pirates...Take EAST CAROLINA!
