Pistons (+) over Pelicans- I'm beginning to think that maybe 'good' coaches do make a difference and this match-up might give 'us' a perfect case study. Ah, coaching! We have to admit that Stan Van Gundy has done a great job with the Pistons who opened last season like the Sixers losing 19 of their first 21 and now support a winning record and an Eastern Conference playoff seed. Meanwhile, the Pelicans who made the playoffs last year on the wings of Anthony Davis have a 'new' coach in Alan Gentry and have failed miserably. The Piston just play better basketball. Take DETROIT!
