Being the road team on a Thursday night is an extreme disadvantage especially when you have a rookie quarterback like the Broncos do with Bo Nix.

The Chargers' defense is better than it looked against the Buccaneers this past week. I see them getting the better of the Broncos.

Denver is riding a four-game winning streak. Those victories, however, have been against the Colts, Browns, Raiders and Falcons. None of those teams has a winning record.

Ladd McConkey is expected to play. That makes a difference as he's the Chargers' top wide receiver.
