But does that future include a 36 year old pitcher? Chris Smith hasn't won a game since 2008! He has a 5 ERA in 3 home starts, 5.29 on the year 6 games, 5 starts. He doesn't strike out many, 19 in 34 innings, but also has 12 walks. Hammel will keep us in the game as he has allowed 3 or less in 11 of his last 12 starts.
