Arizona is 7-3 in its last ten in trying to avenge two or more straight losses against an opponent. It's also 4-1 in its last five after three or more straight losses in a row.

Big pitching mismatch here, with the home side turning to veteran ace Zac Gallen (13-6, 3.74 ERA), who is 4-0 over his last six outings to go along with a sharp 43 to 15 strikeout to walk ratio in that span.

The visitors counter with Mason Black (1-4, 5.88), who has had two terrible starts and one good one.

Give me Gallen at home here in this important end-of-season game, as Arizona has now fallen a half-game back of the Mets for the second wild card spot, and is now only a half-game up on the Braves.
