I think that the oddsmakers have a hard time properly quantifying "momentum" into a line at times. Especially in the playoffs.
The Tigers closed out the regular season as possibly the hottest team in the league that momentum was carried over in yesterday's 3-1 series opening victory.
With a chance to legit steal both games here in Houston, I in fact feel that the value here lies in laying the reasonable price for the extra 1.5 runs of insurance.
The starters are evenly matched in Tyler Holton and Hunter Brown.
In a contest that I see being decided late, or even in extras, I'm grabbing DETROIT on the RUNLINE option.
