The Flyers missed the playoffs last year, but they took both games vs. the Canucks, 2-0 at home and 4-1 here. Vancouver did make the playoffs, but it's off a 6-5 season-opening loss to the Flames.

Philly was 27th overall in the league in goals, and they made a change in net in the offseason, dropping Carter Hart and going with Samuel Ersson as starter instead.

Vancouver's loss was a tough one to open the season, as they had a 4-1 lead. Arturs Silvos will get another chance for redemption here between the pipes and I believe he's the correct call here.

With a tough game at Calgary tomorrow night, the visitors could also be caught looking ahead here. After the tough opening season loss, look for the Canucks to risk life and limb here to avenge those two losses to the Flyers from last season with a big effort here on Friday night.
