Just a great situational play here, as both teams have played to several lower-scoring outcomes to begin the season, and I'm anticipating a much more wide-open and higher-scoring affair than what the oddsmaker's are trying to lead us to believe.
Kent is 4-1 after a 68-52 win over Cleveland State. I actually had the Flashes on the moneyline in that one.
Towson is 4-2 after a 64-60 win over Morgan State. The Tigers have seen the total go UNDER in five straight, but note that looking back Towson has seen the total go OVER in four of its last five after playing to five or more straight UNDERS in a row.
Expect these teams to push the pace in this Tournament game and for this faster-pace to lead to a higher-scoring outcome once it's all said and done.
