This is a 10* AL EAST TOM on the UNDER Red Sox/Rays.
Both teams have been involved in several higher-scoring games of late, but I'm anticipating much more of a "duel" here on Tuesday finally.
The Rays won the opener here yesterday by a score of 16-1. Tampa has seen the total go OVER in three straight.
Boston has been trading high-scoring games with low-scoring ones over its last six and I believe that pattern continues today after last night's "slug-fest."
Boston goes with Walker Buehler, who is so far 1-1 with a 5.74 ERA and 1.28 WHIP, while the home side counters with Ryan Pepiot, who is 11 with a 3.38 ERA and 1.50 WHIP.
Look for these capable hurlers to battle into the deeper innings and as a result, expect this total to stay well UNDER the number once it's all said and done.
