Point Spread: -3.00 | -107.00 Arizona (Home)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* BLOWOUT on Arizona.
The oddsmakers are leading us to believe that these teams are pretty evenly matched, but I think differently, the Wildcats have something to prove today and I expect them to pull away down the stretch for the comfortable ATS cover. Boise State is too one dimensional on offense in my opinion, focus of course will be on RB Jay Ajayi who had 29 TD's this year. Ajayi should be keeping his eyes open for Scooby Wright III of Arizona though, the LB won a plethora of awards as the nation's best lineman and enters bowl season leading the FBS in tackles for a loss (27) and forced fumbles (six). However, the Wildcats also have a dominant back in Nick Wilson who would finish with 1,289 yards rushing and 15 TDs. And as good as Boise State QB Grant Hedrick is, I simply feel that the talent level that Arizona brings to the table across the board will prove to be the difference here. Boise State will continue to get disrespected by the national media and pollsters, but I think is getting plenty of respect from the oddsmakers in this one, Arizona's competition was by far the stiffer this year and I think the Pac-12 rolls; play on the WILDCATS.
