Both teams come into this game struggling, but I think that Miami has a few different factors working in its favor and look for it to find a way to at the very least sneak in through the backdoor down the stretch. I chose Houston as a dark-horse champion at 15-1 in the summer and the Rockets looked great in opening 19-5 by surrendering just 95.9 PPG in the process. Houston has looked pretty shaky lately though, giving up 103.8 over the team's past five. Most recently the Rockets are coming off a listless 111-83 loss at New Orleans on Friday, allowing the Pelicans to shoot 53 percent from the floor. The Heat have lost three straight, but they've actually been pretty accurate with a 50.9 field-goal percentage. Miami will also be out for revenge today after falling 108-91 to the Rockets at home on Novemver 4th. Note that Miami is 5-1 ATS in its last six after three or more consecutive SU losses, while Houston is just 4-5 ATS this season vs. teams with losing records. Some great situational, motivational and strong trend based factors all working in favor of Miami, I think the Heat are definitely worth a second look in this spot.
