What's the first thing you think of when you think about the Buffalo Sabres and New Jersey Devils? For me, it's not incredible offensive play, rather a couple of "blue collar" teams which grind out wins, more often than not their totals falling well below the posted number. However, that's not been the case of late, as Buffalo has seen the total go OVER the number in 11 of its last 12, while New Jersey has seen it sail above the posted number in its last two, including a 5-2 victory over Philadelphia in its last game. However, the trends do all now indeed point to the UNDER as the savvy move here as note that Buffalo has seen the total go UNDER the number in five of six this year when playing with two days of rest, while New Jersey has seen it dip below the posted number in nine of 13 in the same position this season. I finally expect some goaltending in this one, a great situational play, in my opinion all signs do indeed point to the UNDER as the savvy move here.
