In a game which I believe will be decided late or in the extra periods, I have no issues whatsoever in laying the price for the extra 1.5 goals of insurance today. Note that this is a "revenge" game for the visitors who would fall 3-0 at home to the Pens back on November 25th. In fact, to say this is a revenge game would be a bit of an understatement I think as Pittsburgh has won five straight in the series. The Predators will be playing with an edge today, after winning five straight the Central Division leaders have gone a sluggish 1-2-2 after falling 3-0 at Colorado on Friday. The Pens are coming off back-to-back wins and I think will come in a bit complacent today; and note, it's not too hard to imagine the home side getting caught "looking ahead" to its three game Western road swing which starts on Wednesday. I have always maintained that I would gladly lay -500 odds if I thought the line should in fact be -800, in my opinion we're getting pretty good line value with the added goal and a half.
