Both teams are fighting tooth and nail for a playoff spot and they've split a pair of games in LA already this year, but I think the Jets offer pretty good value in this spot. LA won eight straight before then losing two in a row, a 1-0 setback to Ottawa on Thursday and a 4-2 loss at Anaheim on Friday. It was a crushing defeat to the Ducks as the Kings would give up four unanswered third period goals. The Jets could obviously care less about LA's issues, they're just as hungry and desperate after a hard-fought 2-1 shootout loss to St. Louis on Thursday. Note that Winnipeg would outhit the Blues 35 to 21 and has earned at least one point in nine of its last 11. And note that Kings' goaltender Jonathan Quick has struggled vs. the Jets throughout his career in posting a pedestrian 3.25 GAA. I don't think home ice advantage can be overlooked here and in my opinion, this is the very definition of "great line value."
