While there is still over a month of the regular season left to go, a playoff like atmosphere can already be felt around much of the National Hockey League and that's certainly the case for these two teams. Minnesota is coming off a 3-2 home loss to Colorado, just its fourth regulation defeat in 24 games, ending the team's five-game win streak. The Devils are currently 12th in the East and ten points behind the Bruins for the final wild-card spot but come to town in the midst of a 7-2-1 stretch. Most recently New Jersey would demolish Philadelphia 5-2 on Sunday; note that the Devils have killed 28 of 29 penalties over their last 11 games. With games vs. Anaheim, St. Louis and Nashville all on the horizon, it's not too hard to imagine the Wild getting caught looking ahead here, a perfect spot to take advantage of. Getting the extra goal and a half with the DEVILS at this price seems like pretty good value to me.
