AAA's TOTAL "ART OF THE GAME!" (96-73 +$14,276 Y-T-D NBA!)
(NBA) Charlotte vs. Chicago,
Total: 191.00 | -110.00 Over
Result: Win
This is an 8* TOTAL ART OF THE GAME on the UNDER between the Charlotte Hornets and the Chicago Bulls.

This is a great situational play which is backed by some strong O/U trends. Chicago has lost six of its last nine which has resulted in the team falling one-half game behind the Raptors for the East's third seed. The Bulls most recently are coming off a lacklustre 107-91 loss at Detroit on Saturday. Suffice it to say, poor defensive play has been the main culprit in Chicago's recent slide: "We were 19 (points up) with about six minutes left in the third," coach Tom Thibodeau said. "The game isn't over if you start giving them easy scores and don't get back on defense." This ins't your typical Bulls defense as from year's past, there's a much bigger emphasis this season on the offensive side of the ball. However, clearly the home side is going to be putting a highly concerted effort on the defensive end this evening, the Bulls also play with revenge after a 101-91 setback at Charlotte on March 13th (note that Chicago would once again uncharacteristically stumble down the stretch defensively in that one, allowing the Hornets to overcome a 19-point deficit while outscoring the Bulls 82-56 over the final three quarters). Chicago though is getting healthier, Taj Gibson will play in the final meeting of this four-game series, while Jimmy Butler could also be back after sitting out the past 11 games with an elbow injury (and note that this is in fact a double revenge game for Chicago after the Hornets took a 98-86 decision at the United Center on February 25th). Clearly the Bulls are going to be motivated today, I expect an all hands on deck approach from everyone as they look to care of business on their home floor, but that said, obviously the Hornets aren't going to just role over here, they've been extremely effective in shutting down Chicago so far this year and I don't expect that trend to change this evening. The Hornets will be eager to string some wins together, they're coming off a 109-98 win at Minnesota which snapped a three-game slide on Sunday, the victory moved the team into eighth place in the East. Note that Charlotte has seen the total go UNDER the number in 16 of 28 vs. teams with winning records this year, while Chicago has seen the total stay below the posted number in eight of 15 this season following a loss by ten points or more. In my opinion, all signs do indeed point to the UNDER as the savvy move in this contest.
