(NCAAB) Kentucky vs. Florida, 02/04/2017 3:15 PM, Score: 66 - 88
Point Spread: -2.00 | -110.00 Florida (Home)
Result: Win
The Wildcats haven't been as strong defensively as head coach Cal would like to see. Kentucky ranks an impressive 3rd in the nation in scoring average compared to 211th in total defense. In their last outing Kentucky broke out of their 2 game losing skid as the Wildcats got past Georgia in OT at home by a final of 90-81. Florida has all of a sudden emerged as a dominating force in the SEC once again winning their last 3 straight in blowout fashion in preparation for this huge matchup against the Wildcats. In their last outing Florida handled their business at home against Missouri picking up the win by a final of 93-54. Florida has more experience as a whole than the Wildcats, but the Gators also don't have as quite of a high ceiling. Florida is an unselfish group that likes to spread the ball around to a number of different threats and on the year this group ranks an impressive 55th in the nation in scoring as well as 42nd in total defense. Florida has a strong home court advantage and it'll be interesting to see how this young Kentucky roster deals with some adversity. Florida has been playing some of their most dominant ball of the year and I like them to get the win here at home.
