Kansas struggled with Kansas State at home earlier in conference play picking up the win by a final of 90-88 in a game where the Jayhawks struggled to separate from the Wildcats. Kansas hasn't been a strong defensive group this season.
Kansas State picked up a great resume building win in their last outing on the road against Baylor getting past the Bears by a final of 56-54. K-State has been very competitive throughout Big 12 play both at home and on the road and the Wildcats now find themselves standing 16-7 overall and 5-5 in league play. K-State is a more defensive oriented group in the Big 12 ranking 40th in the nation in points allowed compared to 161st in scoring average. Kansas State has been a lot better than most were expecting coming into the year and this group has been very unselfish spreading the ball around with 6 players averaging at least 8 points per game.

This has the ingredients to be a very competitive game and Kansas State should bring in a lot of confidence coming off their road win against Baylor. K-State's defense can be a serious difference maker, especially on their home crowd against this Kansas attack. I like KANSAS ST here at home to get another upset win.
