I think Montreal comes in focused on the task at hand and finds a way to get the job done at the end of the night. Both teams are going to be in the playoffs, but positioning is the major issue now. The Capitals have won two straight at home, most recently a 4-2 victory over Carolina on Tuesday, but I think Alexander Ovechkin and company will have their hands full today vs. this hungry Canadiens team; and note that Ovechkin has been held pointless in this season's first two games vs. the Habs. Montreal is now just one point ahead of Tampa Bay for the division lead and will certainly be hungry today after falling 5-3 to the Bolts on Monday. Despite the stellar play of goaltender Braden Holtby, I'm still going to call the goaltenders a "wash" here, but note that the Capitals are a poor 13-14 ATS (-4.8 units) after scoring four goals or more in their previous contest. In my opinion, all signs point to a blowout, lay it with confidence on MONTREAL.
