AAA's VERY EARLY 3-GM MLB DESTRUCTION PASS!
(MLB) Cleveland vs. Minnesota,
Money Line: -157.00 Cleveland (Away)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on on the Cleveland Indians.

I think this is a clear pitching mismatch and believe we're getting pretty good value on Corey Kluber and the visitors. Despite a pair of solid efforts, the reigning AL Cy Young Award winner has yet to earn a victory, most recently Kluber would give up two runs over 6 1/3's innings in his team's eventual 9-6 loss to Detroit. The big right-hander would give up two runs and three hits while striking out seven over 7 1/3's innings in his season debut on April 6th, but wound up losing 2-0 to the Astros. So far the Tribe has struggled at the plate, but it comes in with some momentum after topping the White Sox 4-2 yesterday. Also note that the Indians won four of their final six in Minnesota last year. I think this sets up as a natural letdown spot for the Twins who are coming off back-to-back wins over previously unbeaten Kansas City, including Thursday's 8-5 victory. The home side turns to Mike Pelfrey, who gave up three runs over 5 1/3's innings of a 7-2 loss last April 4th in his only meeting vs. Cleveland last year. Pelfry looked horrible in his debut, giving up four runs over five innings in a 5-4 loss to the White Sox on Saturday. For the most part MLB handicapping comes down to the starting pitching, in this case, I give the INDIANS the big nod and that will be more than enough to tip the scales in their favor today.
