AAA's National League "ASSASSIN!"
(MLB) Cincinnati vs. Philadelphia,
Money Line: -150.00 Cincinnati (Away)
Result: Loss
This is an 8* ASSASSIN on the Cincinnati Reds.

The Reds are starting to find their stroke at the plate and I think they'll do just enough to get ace Johnny Cueto a win in his first outing back after missing his last two starts because of fatigue. Cueto opened the season on fire, posting a very respectable 1.95 ERA, but has gone 1-2 with a 4.45 ERA over his last four (this is his first start back since May 19th). Cueto has struggled against the Phillies in the past, but has to be liking his chances today with his team swinging a hot bat at the moment, Cincinnati scored 21 runs in a three-game sweep of the Nationals and has won four of five after nine straight losses. One other player to keep your eyes on today is Reds' slugger Todd Frazier who is 11 for 22 over his last six with four dingers and seven RBIs. And that's bad news for the bad news Phillies, who have dropped a season-worst seven in a row, going a deplorable 7 for 48 with runners in scoring position. The Philadelphia bullpen has been particularly inept and completely overworked as well, giving up 12 runs over 19 2/3's innings during the slide. The struggling home side turns to the struggling Sean O'Sullivan (1-4, 4.81 ERA) who was shelled for seven runs in a 7-0 loss to the Mets on Wednesday, allowing 11 hits over 5 2/3's innings of work. We have the two most important factors working in our favor here, as Cueto gets the nod on the bump and the REDS get the nod at the plate, making this a price I have no problem in paying whatsoever.
