Zimmermann (5-2, 2.88 ERA) will be trying to help his team from losing for an eighth time in the last ten games. Zimmermann though has remained a steady focal point for the Nats, he's 4-0 with a 2.00 ERA in eight starts since losing on April 18th and just went eight innings in a 2-0 win over hard-hitting Toronto on Tuesday. The Cubs counter with Kyle Hendricks (1-2, 3.99 ERA) who gave up four runs over six frames in a 4-2 loss at Miami on Tuesday. For the most part MLB handicapping comes down to the starting pitching and in this case, Zimmermann is on a whole different level than Hendricks right now. When you throw in the fact that the NATIONALS will be super eager here to break out of a scuffling slump, there's no question where the value lies in this one, lay the reasonable mid-sized price with confidence on the home side.
