AAA's BIG-CHALK RUN-LINE CHOKE-OUT (44-22 +$14,831 R.L. RUN!)
(MLB) LA Angels vs. Tampa Bay,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -210.00 LA Angels (Away)
Result: Loss
This is a 6* BIG-CHALK RUN-LINE CHOKE-OUT on the LA Angels.

The Angels broke their worst slide of the year with a big 8-2 win in yesterday's series opener, matching a season-high with 15 hits. The Rays are now mired in a losing streak of their own, scoring just nine runs in their last five games while batting a paltry .175. The visitors hand the ball to Jered Weaver (4-5, 4.60 ERA) who is coming off an outing to forget in which he gave up a season-high seven runs and nine hits with three home runs in Friday's 8-7 loss to the Yanks; note though that Weaver had gone 4-0 with a tiny 1.98 ERA over his previous five outings. And a date at Tropicana is just what the doctor ordered for Weaver to get back on track, he's 4-0 with a 2.93 ERA in five starts there with three straight wins. The home side counters with Erasmo Ramirez (4-2, 5.10 ERA) who gave up one run and seven hits over 5 1/3's innings in a 2-1 win over soft-hitting Seattle on Thursday. Ramirez has for the most part been pretty solid this year, but note that Angels are 8-5 (+2.8 units) vs. left-handed starters this season. In a contest which I think will be decided late or in the extra innings, I have no problem laying the price for the extra 1.5 runs of insurance, play on the ANGELS on the RUN-LINE.
