AAA's MID-CHALK RUN-LINE DESTRUCTION!
(MLB) Pittsburgh vs. Chi White Sox,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -155.00 Chi White Sox (Home)
Result: Win
This is a 6* MID-CHALK RUN-LINE DESTRUCTION on the Chicago White Sox.

These two starters have had completely different seasons to date, but I'm not counting out Jeff Samardzija quite yet and look for the home side to at the very least, keep this one close enough to get the cover with the extra 1.5 runs on the RUN-LINE. The visitors hand the ball to Gerrit Cole (10-2, 1.71 ERA) who gave up one run while striking out seven in a 4-3 victory over the Phillies on Saturday. It's obviously pretty hard to say anything negative about Cole this year, so I won't. I simply feel that he'll be in for a tougher matchup than what the oddsmakers are leading us to believe, the home side counters with Smardzija (4-4, 4.84 ERA) who is coming off his best outing since May 27th, limiting the Rays to three runs off six hits over seven innings while walking one and striking out seven in a no-decision. After two straight sub-par outings, it was a big turn around for the veteran (and note, he's been particularly efficient at home where he's 3-1 with a respectable 3.57 ERA). In a contest which I believe will be decided late or in extra innings, I have no problem at all in laying the price for the extra 1.5 runs of insurance; play on the WHITE SOX on the RUN-LINE.
