Toronto turns to veteran RA Dickey (3-6, 4.96 ERA) who was placed on the bereavement list last Friday and who returned to the team on Monday ahead of this scheduled start. A tough spot for anyone to throw in, it would not be completely surprising to see Dickey still mourning after the loss of his father; and note, Dickey is a poor 0-4 with a 6.17 ERA in all road contests this season. Tampa Bay counters with Chris Archer (8-4, 2.18 ERA) who despite not being at his best vs. the Nationals on Thursday, would manage to notch another victory, going five innings and allowing eight hits and three runs. The hard-throwing right-hander has now won five straight decisions and sports a very respectable 2.95 ERA in front of the home town crowd this year. Even without the off-field distraction for Dickey, Archer would clearly get the nod in this matchup, but regardless, I think there are enough significant factors working in the home side's favor to make this a price I have no issues at all in laying, play on the RAYS.
