AAA's VERY EARLY 10* SLUGFEST!
(MLB) Toronto vs. Kansas City,
Total: 8.00 | -105.00 Under
Result: Push
This is a 10* SLUGFEST on the OVER between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Kansas City Royals.

These veteran starters performed better than most expected over the first half, but each has shown some cracks in the armor over the last two weeks and both have struggled in this spot all year long. When the smoke clears at the end of the afternoon, I look for this total to sneak above the posted number. The visitors hand the ball to Mark Buehrle (9-5, 3.38 ERA) who would give up nine hits in a 4-2 loss to the White Sox on Monday. For the most part Buehrle has been as solid as you could possibly ask for in 2015, but note that he's just 4-4 with a pedestrian 3.71 ERA on the road this year and only 2-3 with a 3.73 ERA in all "day" games. The home side turns to Chris Young (7-4, 2.89 ERA) who was shelled for four runs off five hits over six innings in a fortunate no-decision vs. the Rays on Tuesday. Like Buehrle, Young has been brilliant over the first half of the season, but has also struggled in this spot, owning a 4.07 ERA in front of the home town crowd and a poor 1-2, 5.86 ERA in all "day" games. After yesterday's low-scoring series opener, I look for these team's bats to come alive and chase these starters early, play on the OVER.
