AAA's 3-GM OPENING NIGHT REPORT (+$45,000 NBA L2 YEARS)
(NBA) Detroit vs. Atlanta,
Total: 197.50 | -110.00 Over
Result: Loss
This is an 8* play on the UNDER between the Detroit Pistons and the Atlanta Hawks.

Both teams obviously come in with big expectations. The Pistons haven't been to the playoffs in seven years, while the Hawks are coming off their best season in franchise history. Atlanta's 60 wins was best in the East in 2014/15 and the team would make it to the conference finals before falling to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. No one will be taking the Hawks lightly this season though, a team which does have a big hole to fill after DeMarre Carroll signed with Toronto. The Hawks should still compete this year though with Kyle Korver, Al Horford, Paul Millsap and Jeff Teague all returning. Detroit made significant progress last season under first-year coach Stan Van Gundy, its 32 win were the most since 2009. With big man Greg Monroe gone to Milwaukee, the Pistons turn to 22-year old Andre Drummond, who was a defensive force with a career-high 1.9 blocks per game last season, and who also increased his scoring and rebounding averages as well. Drummond is joined by Esan Ilyasova, Marcus Morris and Reggie Jackson. There are a lot of new faces for each team and we believe that'll lead to some longer offensive possessions to open the season. A slower paced games = less shots and less shots = less points. Play on the UNDER.
