This is a 10* RED DRAGON on the UNDER between Western Michigan and Eastern Michigan.
We grabbed this line early and got an extremely favorable one (70), but regardless, we love this selection and expect this total to sneak below the posted number once the final horn sounds. Western Michigan has won three straight, QB Zach Terrell is completing 69.1 percent of his for 1,793 yards and 20 TD's. The ground game is also a major strength, averaging 176.7 YPG. Defensively the team is allowing an acceptable 408.9 yards per game, but a somewhat hefty 29.1 points per contest. Eastern Michigan won't be simply rolling over today though as the Eagles will be looking to snap a six-game losing streak. QB Brogan Roback has completed 63.2 percent of his passes for 1,516 yards and nine TD's to go along with a disturbing nine INT's. Like the Broncos, Eastern Michigan also has a strong ground game which averages 180.2 yards per contest. Where EMU lacks is clearly on the defensive side where it gives up a ghastly 44.5 points per contest on nearly 522 yards per game. From an O/U trend based stand point though, this play is very strong, note that WMU has seen the total go UNDER the posted number in 11 of its last 19 when playing with six or less days rest, while EMU has seen the total stay below the posted number in its last two home games as an underdog in the 17.5 to 21 points range. This number is just a little high, play on the UNDER.
