We played against the Lakers in their home opener with the Wolves and predictably after having a large lead, LA would choke down the stretch and succumb 112-111 to Minnesota after Lou Williams missed a 4-foot runner at the buzzer on Wednesday. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 24 points, but was just 8 of 24 from the floor and 3 of 13 from behind the arc; note, in all LA would shoot just 37.6 percent from the floor, including only 9 of 35 from beyond the arc. Sacramento will also be looking to bounce back here after falling 111-104 to the Clippers on Wednesday, the Kings were unable to overcome 18 turnovers, including 12 in the first half: "At first we played terrible," said center DeMarcus Cousins. "The turnovers killed us, especially on my end. We could have done a better job sharing the ball. But that being said, we had a great chance of winning the ballgame." It's a great situational play in our opinion, both teams were horrible on the defensive end of the floor last season and each is coming off a poor effort in their opening losses, which means that they'll both be playing with a concerted effort on that end of the floor this evening. And note that LA has seen the total go UNDER the number in 28 of its last 55 after scoring 105 points or more, while Sacramento has seen the total sneak below the posted number in 16 of its last 30 after a divisional contest.
