AAA's 10* TOTAL "ART OF WAR" (JUST $25 SPECIAL!)
(NBA) Charlotte vs. Detroit,
Total: 206.50 | -108.00 Under
Result: Win
Total: 206.50 | -108.00 Under
Result: Win
This is a 10* TOTAL ART OF WAR on the OVER between the Charlotte Hornets and the Detroit Pistons.
REASONING: These teams don't play to a lot of higher-scoring affairs. Charlotte has seen the Over/Under go 28-28 thus far, while Detroit has seen it go 27-30. But we think the situation will lend itself to a higher-scoring shootout between two clubs which need to start stringing some wins together. The Hornets will be desperate today as they enter the second half of the season having lost four straight and nine of their last ten, most recently a 90-85 setback on the road in Toronto last Wednesday. The Pistons enter on the other end of the spectrum as they've won four of their last six, most recently downing the Mavs 98-81 at home last week. These teams met on January 5th and Detroit managed the 115-114 home win. Suffice it to say, we're expecting a similar, high-scoring competitive affair this time around as well. Charlotte averages 104.5 PPG and allows 104.2. Kemba Walker leads the team with 22.5 PPG. Detroit averages 101.2 PPG and allows 101.7. Tobias Harris leads a balanced attack with 16.3 points and 5.1 boards per game. Note that Charlotte has already seen the total go OVER the numer in its only game this year when playing with three or more days rest and in four of seven after allowing 90 points or less, while Detroit has seen the total go OVER in five of six this season after playing to three or more consecutive UNDERS in its only game it played this year after three or more days of rest. Play the OVER.
